Motorcycling New Zealand (MNZ) and CTAS are excited to announce they will be live streaming the 2017 New Zealand Supercross and 2018 New Zealand Superbike Championships, making these popular events available to view online from anywhere in the world.

The partnership is a positive move for both championships as it offers a higher level of exposure for sponsors and partners, while benefiting competitors by enabling their sponsors, supporters, friends and families to follow their progress throughout the series.

CTAS has been providing live streaming services as CTASLIVE™ for over 10 years and the product has continued to evolve and improve every year. With 70-80% of viewers now accessing the service via mobile devices, fans will be able follow the racing from anywhere, as long as they have mobile coverage.

Director Grant Collingwood says CTAS has invested in new hardware and software to provide a great product as economically as possible: “The Remote Camera setup enables us to put cameras over a kilometer away and still receive smooth HD video wirelessly. A more recent development is the Slow Motion Replay, which is blended into the live stream periodically during racing. We’re getting great feedback from viewers about this feature and the service overall.”

MNZ General Manager Virginia Henderson is pleased fans will be able to follow the series regardless of where they are: “We’re working hard to grow interest in our sport nationally and to attract new talent into road racing. New Zealand has a proud history in motorcycle racing and making the NZ Supercross and NZSBK Championships accessible to anyone anywhere is a key part of our strategy. We hope the racing community and all the motorcycling enthusiasts out there tune in on race days and enjoy the excitement of the live on-track action.”
